Losing female support, McCain alters approach
This article in the Boston Globe is effective in presenting McCain's shortcomings in the female voter realm. His choice of Palin as the vice presidential candidate has cost him dearly, as depicted in the recent polls outlined in the article. The nutgraf--"After his second debate with Obama on Tuesday night, McCain and running mate Sarah Palin held events in Pennsylvania and Ohio where he stressed healthcare and homeownership - both issues that women, especially independent white women, have cited as important in their choice of a candidate" sums up McCain's plan to regroup and attack from another angle. The title adequately defines the article.
